    If you have tried discussing an issue, concern, problem or complaint at work without success, then the next step should be to follow a formal route.

    All companies should have a grievance procedure; you have a legal right to do so. This should be done via a letter to your manager or HR Manager.

  • Appeal Letter

    The law is very strict. If you do not appeal your dismissal and win your case at the Employment Tribunals, any award you may have been entitled to can be reduced by up to 15%.

    Similarly, if you do not appeal any warnings you may have received at work, you will be deemed to have accepted it in the eyes of the law.
